Masterchef Competition 2022

MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul – an IB World School organised Inter House Master Chef Competition 2022 on the 15th August 2022. 

“No one is born a great cook, one learns by doing.”- Julia Child.

A little competition mixed with teamwork makes a great learning environment. The Inter House Master Chef competition was organized by Boarding Team of MITVGS for the Boarding Students where we witnessed the enthusiastic participation from the IBMYP & IBDP students. 

It was the first time that the school has organized such a competition and the students responded with utmost zeal. The Students prepared yummy and lip-smacking dishes which were the healthier alternatives to junk food and displayed amazing presentation of their culinary skills.

Cooking is an art because it involves all aspects of life, which needs to be nurtured in a child. Cooking boosts self-confidence and personal development.
We as a school has been in the forefront for delivering innovative ideas so the students of MITVGS can work with their hands-on learning experience where they ignite the spark to find their true path in life.

It is was pleasure and humbling experience for our judges Ms Sangeeta Thakur – Hospitality Administrator, Mr Sandeep Singh – Catering Officer, Mr Vaibhav Kulkarni – Executive Chef and Mr Shivaji Raghunath More – Head Chef  to judge the Master Chef competition.
